I saw that cat again today! I knew that I was smelling him, dammit. He's in the apartment downstairs. I was on the porch and he was in the window. Then I got in a chair under the window, and we had words. I told him he could kiss my ass. I said some other stuff too but I'm too polite to repeat it here. BigKitty told me I had to go inside (I told her to kiss my ass too; I do that sometimes). But I'm going out again tomorrow to look for him. If I find him, I'll tell him off again!
